Theoretical and clinical practices in 3rd, 4th and 5th years and also graduate and post graduate studies are carried out at our department. Third class student come to our clinic as an observer, 4th and 5th class student visit patients under control of research assistant and professors.
Additionally our department presents preclinical education for 2nd and 3th class students training. The students work on phantom head and extracted human teeth on models in the laboratuary.
Our department’s first mission is caries prevention intervention. Preventive dentistry application, caries remove, filling, vital and non-vital bleaching procedures and also aesthetic applications are done by restorative department. Currently, according to the patients demands for aesthetic beside of applications mentioned above, direct and indirect composite resine restorations like CAD/CAM system are used in our clinic.
